During the first class on the morning of 20th March, at the Lecture Hall, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department convened the mobilization conference for the 2017 Academic Proficiency Test in Grade 11 with the theme of ‘All the Best for Our Dreams’.
This meeting was chaired by Director Xu Haihong in charge of Grade 11. Also in attendance were Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong as well as all teachers and students from Grade 11.
First of all, Director Xu Haihong introduced the exam date, form, performance levels and score impact of the Attainment Level Test in Anhui Province.
Second of all, Director Xu Haihong looked back at the previous performance status of Anqing Foreign Language School and analyzed this year’s analysis of the students. He stressed that arts students should attach great importance to the review work of physics, chemistry and biology while science students were supposed to lay emphasis on the learning of ideology& morality, history and geography. Other than that, Director Xu Haihong put forward five expectations and proposals in that students should pay more attention ideologically, set clear objectives, guarantee study time, apply scientific methods and implement actions.
Third of all, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong pointed out that today’s Pep rally was not only a mobilization meeting for the Academic Proficiency Test, but also a whistle for the College Entrance Examination for students in Grade 11. Principal Assistant Qian demanded that students have the Chinese Gao Kao objectives in mind, attach importance to the Attainment Level Test, cherish the classroom, pay particular attention to the learning and review of the Chinese subject, reinforce independent learning and realize self-regulated preparation, review in addition to homework completion.
Fourth of all, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong requested that all teachers make concerted efforts to make reasonable, efficient review plans, unify the rate of teaching progress, earnestly prepare and give lessons to make a goo job of cultivating top students and tutoring so that teachers can achieve intensive training, combine interpretation with practice and create effective classrooms.
To conclude, this mobilization conference enabled all teachers and students to establish the consciousness of ‘Go All Out in Senior Two and Win Victories in Senior Three’. From this moment on, all teachers and students started to vigorously prepare for the Academic Proficiency Test and pilot the College Entrance Examination smoothly.
